Installations instructions
We recommend getting Simosoft products from internet
(Download).
So you get always the last version of the software. If you don't have an internet connection, then you can ask for an installation CD of the Simosoft product at a cost of 20,00 € (EU countries). The CD well be delivered per post. Take a request by phone at: +39 (0)471 798113
Download of the single user version
We recommend to save the
„version for single user“
on your computer
The download is short; you get always the latest product version. Only the required components will be downloaded
Installation of the version for single user step by step:

start the installation by clicking the downloaded file

accept the license terms for the MS SQL Server database software to install it
-
if needed, then now will be installed additional software components (this step can be missed completely)

at last, starts the Simosoft product installation

double-click the Simosoft product icon on your desktop. The Simosoft initialization window opens

(only for Simoart) in the setup information section, field category, change the category if needed (standard = woodcarvings)

click „start now“
-
after the initialization, opens the company window. For the moment, type in only the company abbreviation and description and click „save“

if the setup of the company and his database is successful, then the installation is finished!
Note: the registration window that appears sometimes during the setup, well be simply closed
Installation of the Client Server network version
For the installation of the Client Server network version you need an installation CD of the Simosoft product and a Windows Server (2003 or higher). You need also an installed MS SQL Server 2005 database software.
With the Simosoft installation-CD, start the installation of the software. For this installation you need know-how in networks, in windows server operating systems and in Microsoft SQL Server database engines.
